Is this uncommon or not?
I have dark brown/blackish hair and my eyes are so dark they look black and you cannot see my pupil, but my skin is so pale. I am not chinese or anything. im half italian quarter irish and a qaurter maltese. Is this uncommon or commom?
I believe the paleness of the skin comes from your Irish background, the dark hair from the Italian side and the dark eyes from the maltese. Just think, some people are bleaching their skin to become paler while you are already pale, and people dye their hair to get your hair color. It’s neither uncommon or common- this just is. Maybe it is uncommon in your area but other parts looking like that is a common thing.

Has anyone had experience with the Love Dare?
My husband doesn’t love me and wants out of our marriage. I recently watched Fireproof and it really touched my heart. In the last 2 months that I have known about him not loving me I have not been able to convince him otherwise. I was wondering if any one has personal experience with the Love Dare. I am Christian my husband is undecided. I know I want to start the dare but I don’t know if I should tell him about it or ask him to watch the movie. I will do anything to rekindle our love if it is at all possible…personal experience would be helpful. We are both 23 and have been together for 7years. He has questioned whether he wants to stay or not for about a year now…but I knew nothing of it until about 2 months ago. I am so worried that he will leave and never come back and it is not that I wont be able to move on but the fact that I know it can work now that I am beginning to understand what love really is. It is not just a feeling, it is also a choice. But how to you go about convincing someone else of that? I recognize my mistakes now and want to change, but he doesn’t think love can come back and doesn’t really want to try either. Should I just do the dare and not tell him about it… I don’t know how long I have before he leaves. We have counseling on the 12th and he said he will decided whether he wants the couseling to be about working on our marriage or about letting go. I want to convince him to give me the chance to work on it but I do not know how without it sounding like I am begging.
Why have you asked this again? Your devotion to your marriage is admirable. But marriage takes two people. If your husband isn’t as devoted as you are, it doesn’t matter how many inspirational movies you watch or how much begging you do. My advice to you is to talk to your husband and go to a good marriage counsellor. Start there and see where it goes. Good luck.

I have not done the Love Dare, but I saw the movie and I think it’s a great idea to save a marriage and I highly recommend it.
One thing I’ve read online is about treating your husband like a king…even when he doesn’t deserve it. Treat him like he’s the best person in the world and show him the utmost respect and he will eventually start to change in his attitude towards you and treat you with more love and respect. It’s something I’m going to try.

Dont give up. Counseling is good but by all means, get a christian counselor. Secular counselors can make things worse. Talk to the counselor about what you are willing to do and that you need time. Maybe the counselor can open his eyes to being patient and working it out before running away. If he is willing to go to counseling, that is a good sign. I too, took desperate measures to keeping my husband and saving our marriage. He wanted out and was being pulled by those tingly feelings he was getting from another woman. I involved his very strong christian brother to help us. I gave it 150% for a year and it took that until he finally let go of those feelings for her and saw what he had right in front of him. It won’t happen in a couple of weeks. Get others involved if you need to and give it everything. He can turn around and love you back. Another good resource is Gary Chapman’s book "the Five Love Languages" or "hope for the separated". Also, if he is willing, take him to a "Weekend to Remember" conference. It will change your life, I guarantee it! Good luck and keep fighting.
